「英文の先生たちはどんな研究をしているの？」
このシリーズでは英語英文学科所属の先生方それぞれの最近の著書や研究、興味のあることについてご紹介していきます。
今回はFast先生のご研究と業績について紹介します。
第12回：Thomas Fast准教授
My research interests are primarily Foreign Language Learning and Global Citizenship Education (GCED). In the field of foreign language, I have dedicated myself primarily to Content Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) and Project-Based Learning (PBL), as a teacher of both Spanish and English. I have presented and published on both topics, and served as a consultant for Benesse and the Okayama and Hiroshima Prefectural Boards of Education among others. In 2016, I authored the National Geographic Textbook, Impact 4 which was nominated for an ELT on Award by the British Council. Currently, I am conducting research on the Model UN as a process for Learning English and Global Citizenship, which is supported by a Japanese Government Grant. I am also a doctoral candidate at Osaka University. My dissertation is on Global Citizenship Education at Japanese Universities.
