Dr. Waring has been elected to the Board of the Lexical Research Foundation（http://www.lexicalresearchfoundation.org/）, a not-for-profit organization promoting excellence in lexical and vocabulary research, description and pedagogy. The LRF will host the Vocab@Tokyo conference（https://sites.google.com/site/vocabattokyo/home） of which Dr Waring is conference Chair. The conference is held on September 12-14th at Meiji Gakuin University.
