英語教育センターのStephen Shrader准教授著『Little Things We Forgot We Learned』が刊行されました。

内容紹介
Edward Hall believed that by interacting with people from other cultures, we learn about them, but also discover our own hidden patterns of thought. These are the "little things we forgot we learned."

Students from Japan preparing to work or study abroad need intercultural communication skills, but books containing the necessary information often contain unfamiliar references or language that is not level-appropriate. This text is specifically written to be accessible to an audience with a Japanese background, but with an intermediate to advanced level of English.

It covers many of the concepts and names typically included in introductory courses on intercultural communication in English-speaking countries, but with examples that students without overseas experience can understand.
