This is a report of the Extensive Reading Foundation tour of Indonesia in July 2018. Dr Rob Waring of Notre Dame Seishin University, Dr Willy Renandya of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and Yuseva Wardhana of Sanata Dharma University, Yogyakarta, Indoensia were the main speakers on this tour. The tour comprised talks at six universities in four locations, Yogyakarta, Solo Surabaya, Salatiga and Jakarta.

The main theme of the talks was to introduce and promote the notion of Extensive Reading to Indonesian teachers who are quite new to the idea of extensive reading. Almost 1000 teachers and teacher trainees attended the talks. At the beginning of the talks ony 2-5% of teachers had heard of graded readers but by the end, 97-98% of the teachers were interested in finding out more and buying some books. Since the tour finished many new extensive reading programs have started and there are many demands for more lectures next year.
