The first floor is a lounge-style hall, while lecture rooms and faculty research rooms are located on the second floor and above. A terrace that serves as a daily resting space for students and green spaces are also furnished.

2Caritas Hall 1st Floor
(Caritas Cafeteria)The cafeteria is located on the first floor and is crowded with students and faculty every day. The second floor hall, which seats approximately 460 people, is where various events, functions, and classes are held.

5St. Joseph Hall A • B Building
Building A houses the Continuing Education Center, the History Exhibition Room, and the NDSU Center for Regional Collaboration and SDGs Promotion, while Building B has a student lounge with Wi-Fi access.

6Trinity Hall
This is a new building constructed in 2024. It is a seven-story building with common spaces, lecture rooms, seminar rooms, and a lounge where students can focus and relax. The building is equipped with various pieces of equipment such as 3D printers, allowing students can focus on specialized studies.

7Notre Dame Hall Main Building
Built in 1929, this is the University’s first building and is a valuable building registered as a Tangible Cultural Property of Japan. In addition to lecture rooms, it houses the main facilities of the University, including the bulletin board. With the lush green courtyard and gingko trees that adorn the campus nearby, students can enjoy their university life while experiencing nature on a daily basis.

8Water Mirror
The 10-meter diameter water object in front of the central building is one of the most famous landmarks on campus. It is intended to encourage students to “stop and look inside themselves”.

9Library
The library has a collection of about 370,000 books and exhibits materials on the writer Joji Tsubota. In the library’s Learning Commons, the voices of students engaged in discussion and dialogue can be heard.

9English Education Center (EEC)
Library 3rd FloorStudents can use the Self-Study Room, which has almost everything needed for language study, the English Study Consultation Room, where English teachers are available for consultation, and the English Lounge.
