英語教育センターでは、セルフスタディ・ルーム横のホワイトボードに英語教育センター教職員が週替わりで担当する「今週の言葉」を掲示しています。言語は英語のみならず、日本語の言葉もあり、英語教育センター教職員が感動したり、元気をもらったりした言葉を学生の皆さんへのメッセージも込めて掲示しています。昨年度より、学生の皆さんからも「今週の言葉」を募集し、掲示しており、今年度も募集を受け付けていますので、在学生の方は是非応募してみてください。
そして、新型コロナウイルス感染症の猛威により心身ともに不安な生活が続く中で、少しでも心が温かくなり、前向きになることができますよう、ブログでも「今週の言葉～selection～」を掲載したいと思います。英語教育センター教職員の思いが少しでも皆様に届きますように。

(訳)大変革の時代に、学習する者が世界の後継者となる。その一方で、すでに学習をやめてしまった者は自分の力を発揮する世界がもはや存在しないということに気付くことになるだろう。
【Jason Williams先生からのコメント】
This quote makes me remember three of the most important words for education: Never Stop Learning. Learn as much as you can while you are a student at this university. Do not only take classes and study topics in your major. Take classes in other subjects and study other topics that you think are interesting. Learn as much as you can. Do not stop studying after you graduate from this university. What you study and learn now will be old and not as helpful for you in 10 years. Keep studying and learning at your job. Study and learn in your private life. The world changes very quickly and you need to be ready. Learning new things will never hurt you; it will only help you.
