I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States. I come from a family of teachers and wanted to be a teacher since I was in high school. At university, I studied to be a history teacher but then decided to be an English teacher after I graduated. This was because of the many exchange students that I made friends with. In graduate school, I studied English Language Education. I have taught students from almost every high school in Okayama and now I get to teach them again at Seishin.

Seishin is a great school for students and teachers. The teachers are great, the atmosphere is friendly, the campus is beautiful and the students are wonderful. My advice to you is from Ghandi: Live like you are going to die tomorrow, learn like you are going to live forever.
